Our Philosophy

The name and logo of My Silver Tree carry a special meaning. The roots of a tree represent our past, our loved ones, and the generations who came before us, the foundation of who we are. Silver symbolizes the wisdom, experience, and beauty of aging, reflected in silver hair that tells a lifetime of stories. The branches represent the diversity of our services, four main areas that grow together from one strong trunk:

Each branch is different, yet they all share the same goal: to support the whole person, nurturing body, mind, and spirit with care and respect. The heart shape of our logo reminds us that everything we do is rooted in love, love for who we are, who we serve, and what we represent.

Our Story

My Silver Tree was born from a deeply personal experience. During the pandemic, I spent precious time caring for my father in some of his most vulnerable moments. Seeing his needs, physical, emotional, and spiritual, opened my eyes to how much families go through when supporting their aging loved ones. That experience inspired me to create a space where care could feel personal, uplifting, and filled with human warmth.

Living far from my mother also shaped my mission. Knowing that others care for her when I cannot, I strive to offer the same love and attention to every client, as if they were my own parents. This company is built on that promise: to serve others with the same heart, respect, dedication, and empathy we give to our own family and loved ones.

Our Approach

With a background in health care as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) and additional training and certifications in Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Graphic Design (Creative Arts), and Grooming, I envisioned a company that could bring together all of these elements to care for seniors in a more complete and human way. True well-being is not just about medical support; it’s also about connection, joy, confidence, and peace of mind.

That’s why My Silver Tree offers more than one kind of service. Each area, from gentle wellness sessions and light grooming to joyful activities and compassionate personal care, reflects a piece of that holistic vision. Together with a team of skilled and caring professionals, we form a circle of support dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through dignity, respect, creativity, and heartfelt care.
